I like everyone else, have been pursuing my dreams.

I worked as a neonatal nurse in 2006. At that time, I often witnessed the greatness and devotion of mother’s love. I thought I would proof myself by taking on more study, so I went to university and chose a Master degree in management. While doing full time work in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), I obtained my professional patisserie chef course with Le Cordon Bleu to fulfill my creative desire. 

I gave up my stable NICU job to pursue my dream on sweets, opened a cafe called Sweet Dreams by Elle.

Every cake creation was customised from thousands of conversations with customers, who were satisfied with my creations. I still remember those valuable feedback and treasures the memorable photos. 

My entire life changed with the arrival of my daughter – Atarah. I decided to put my dreams on hold and sell my patisserie shop. Maximising the joy of spending every moment with my newborn child.

However my creative brain has never rested during my pregnancy, perhaps it came from my daughter. I would woke up in the morning, with a calling to print. One day , I recalled my desire in creating something to represent the devotion of mothers’ love to their children when I was a neonatal nurse. I develop my artistic work in describing the devotion of love. This drove me to obtain a jewellery design certificate from University of Technology, as I desperately wanted to create something to embody the unconditional love from a mother to their child/children. 7 years has passed, I have been inspired by my daughter ever since, who gave me a lot of design inspiration. She sometimes would participated in the designs, from design concepts to production. I believe in my journey, experience and devotion in jewellery design, I strongly believe every single piece of my design as art work, and ensure each piece of jewellery are unique and manufactured to a high standard.

Jewellery design is the last missing puzzle in my creation dream. I’m sure that you could feel the miracle of love and devotion from my designs. I’m certain my daughter is the core that drives my every movement and translates into designs. One of my series of jewellery is called Precious Gift which was devoted to my daughter.
